If the sea calls to you, spring for the fare to climb aboard the Brig Unicorn, a 140-ft, 19th-century pirate ship showcased in the film, Pirates of the Caribbean. The Unicorn sails daily along the west coast from Smugglers Cove St. Lucia to Soufriere. Once there, tour Sulphur Springs, a drive-in volcano, and the stunning Diamond Falls before returning to the anchored vessel for an onboard lunch. If you prefer, board the Unicorn for an adults-only, sunset cruise with live music, hors d'oeuvres, champagne, rum punch and soft drinks.

Smugglers Cove Resort offers an array of activities for children of different age ranges. Activities include jewelry making and face painting for younger deck hands, and archery training for older swabs looking to make a name for themselves topside.

Smugglers Cove Resort provides live music nightly under the island stars in Smugglers' very own open-air theater. Night owls can sing to the latest hits at The Smugglers Pub & Sports Bar.

While the Superior Deluxe Beachfront Room offers a view of Smugglers Cove and the Caribbean, the Superior Deluxe Garden View Room is atop a gentle hillside, the perfect spot to watch a Caribbean sunset from a personal terrace or Japanese soaking tub. Who wouldn't walk the plank to get this one?

The closest airport is George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU). Approximate driving time is 30 minutes.

Hewanora Airport (UVF) is on the south side of the island and caters to jet aircraft. Approximate driving time is 90 minutes.

Smugglers Cove is currently remodeling a block of six rooms near the Piton Lounge area. A hoarding has been built to block the view of the building to the guests. The work being done should not cause significant noise or other disruption and is only visible to guests from the Piton Bar/Lounge area and adjacent rooms.�

Pools

Five pools available, including one for adults that's paired with a 10-person spa tub, an activities pool with a water slide and a pool with a swim-up bar. A fifth pool is located at the racquet club within the resort.

Child Care

A supervised Kids Club is open daily, catering to children from newborn to teenagers. The club has been designed to provide educational fun to kids all ages, keeping them happily entertained with playgrounds and fully equipped activity centers. The fully qualified staff allow parents to relax and enjoy themselves in the knowledge that their little ones are supervised and well-looked after.

The extensive children and teen's programme is part of the all inclusive package at Smugglers Cove Resort & Spa.

At Smugglers Cove Resort & Spa your family can enjoy supervised age-specific children's activities for ages 3 through 16 daily from morning until nighttime. In addition, our nursery for children 0-23 months, open daily morning to late afternoon.

You must supply diapers and formula for infants.

Mini-Club (ages 2-4)

Activities available for younger children include: jewellery making, puppet craft, flower and sand art, T-shirt painting, indoor free play, outdoor play in minipark, pool activities and movie matinees.

Kids Club (ages 5-7 and 8-12)

Activities for these age groups include: jewelery making, face painting, tie-dying, flower and sand art, badminton, beach cricket, volleyball, pool activities, junior chef, movie-star makeover, board games and Nintendo. We also offer special movie times after 6pm.

Teen Centre

Some of the teen specific activities at Smugglers Cove include: pool volleyball, badminton, beach cricket, pool table, board games, Nintendo, archery (16 and older), junior chef, movie-star makeovers, movies and dances.

Sports

The hotel has its own Racquet Club, which is equipped with five tennis courts. It also has a squash court and gymnasium.� Table tennis, billiards, volleyball and archery are also included in the all-inclusive plan.

Daytime activities include games and athletic competitions, morning hikes, and land and water aerobics.

Spa Services

The new Samsarati Spa is a sanctuary for the mind, body and soul offering a selection of luxurious spa therapies, including a choice of relaxing massages, facials, body treatments, manicures and pedicures. Treatments may be enjoyed on the beach, in a beach-side gazebo or in one of six new treatment rooms.

Spa treatments are not part of the all inclusive program.

On Mondays the Cove hosts a traditional Creole Buffet, offering a feast for the senses with a magnificent buffet and barbeque and a chance to kick off your shoes and dance barefoot on the sandy beach to the rhythms of the Caribbean.
