Week at La Source
The resort was a very nice property. There were many flights of stairs so if you are not up to the hike in the hot and humid climate, it is not for you, or try to procure a ground floor room. The key deactivated a few times during the week which forced me to do the stairs more than once. The food was good but sometimes they did not want to let you wait for a table in the a la carte restaurants which forced me to eat buffet. I had to have buffet meals for an entire day on one day. And there were not a lot of choices in the buffet.
If you sat on the beach there was a man who would hound you every moment that he was looking for a rich woman to settle down with. The resort did not do anything to discourage this so I never sat at the beach again.
I did not know that they were going to schedule all my spa treatments before I arrived, and as I had already made excursion plans prior to my arrival I could not work with their schedule and they would not reschedule to accomodate the afternoon, which is when I was free.
The resort is very well maintained and the room was lovely.

There are alot of excellent tours provided on land and sea in Grenada. The diving seems to be the most popular as well as fishing. Island tours seem to be very popular as well.

If you are a scuba diver I highly recommend Devotion to Ocean. It is a top notch dive operation and I have used them on two separate trips to Grenada.

Room Information
Rooms offer a colonial feel with jalousied wooden shutters rather than curtains providing shade from the brilliant Caribbean sunlight and ceiling fans gently moving the air. Cool marble underfoot feels opulent and hand carved mahogany furniture adds warmth, as does a 4-poster king size bed (or a choice of two double beds) with off white bedspreads that add to the antique feel. Generous room size gives you desirable space, while a private balcony or terrace takes you outside to a view of the sea or the fabulous gardens. Bathrooms are also spacious and luxurious with abundant marble, a bath and shower, and a plentiful supply of necessary toiletries and robes.

Hotel Description
LaSource believes that pleasure is a great way to achieve body-mind harmony, which is why its four restaurants and three bars serve delicious food and drink with great variety, style and grace from an award-winning chef. The resort itself is a place of extraordinary beauty with three pools, a nine hole golf course and architectural design of the first order. The accommodations are among the best you will find in the Caribbean.
LaSource means "the spring" in French, and the name was carefully chosen to signify the importance of water in the holiday experience. Surrounded by water on three sides, the sea gives a natural and amazing playground both above and below it's clear, clean depths.
Divers from all over the world come to Grenada for a superior dive experience in near-virgin waters. LaSource offers excellent diving opportunities for both certified and non-certified divers who are resort guests. The dive crew will help you tailor a dive holiday suitable for your level of experience, and guests who are not certified are offered the opportunity to "try" diving without going through a full certification course at an additional cost. Certified divers are entitled to three dives per one week stay. Additional dives are available at an extra charge. Guests can also take advantage of the comprehensive PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) certification courses for beginners and advanced divers at an additional cost.
A variety of water sports are available from snorkeling, ocean kayaking, windsurfing, Hobie Cat sailing, sailing, aqua aerobics classes and water volleyball. Water skiing, wake and knee boarding are also available at an additional cost.
LaSource also features a 9-hole Executive Par 3 golf course on the grounds of the resort. While short, the course layout amid flowering trees and shrubs along a brook that cascades over waterfalls, is a joy to play. With it's many hillside lies, the course presents a challenge and a great opportunity to develop the short game.
Exotic pleasures await you in the award-winning Oasis spa. Expert hands and healing oils coax stress and tension from every muscle until you feel the glow of profound relaxation. Several kinds of massage, a facial, a body buff, and aromatherapy all contribute to making you look and feel beautiful. One treatment a day is complimentary and an amazing menu of other treatments are as available as you wish at extra charge. A personalized schedule of included treatments is issued to you to begin one day after arrival. The Moroccan theme of the spa's decor makes the experience all the more exotic. Mixed with other body and mind relaxation treats, this is the most enjoyable way to feel more glowingly beautiful and alive than ever before.
