It was so relaxng just walking into the lobby. The food was very good and lots of it. This was our first trip to Cancun and this hotel makes us wanting togo right back. If you like lasagna the Azur restaurant makes the best I have ever had.

This was our first trip using Cheap Caribbean and we were a bit reluctant. My fears were COMPLETELY unfounded. The trip was perfect from the reservation set up, customer service by phone, the documentation and instructions and of course the trip and Live Aqua Resort as well. Cheap Caribbean was wonderful. My ONLY complaint (and it was relatively minor) is that we requested an early check-in due to any early arriving flight. The front desk representative neither acknowledged our request nor had any record of it and did not seem concerned at all about it. Likewise, he did not have accurate knowledge of room descriptions and the views they presented. Finally, we would have been interested in knowing more about available paid room upgrades but he did not provide us with available information despite asking for it. Having said that, the minor front desk experience in no way diminishes the incredibly fantastic time we experienced at Live Aqua. My wife and I enjoyed our time away immensely and would strongly recommend this resort to others. Finally, if you have time to venture out, check out Coco Bongo. It is one of those things you need to do once in your life just to say you did it. We had great fun. Go for the VIP upgrade. If is well worth the extra $35. No waiting in the massive line, direct escort to a private, exceptional seats and private restrooms. The show and music are tremendous. Tip the bartender and your server when you arrive and your service and drinks will be fantastic. Maybe even a little TOO fantastic :o) !!

We were treated like Kings and Queens. The resort is beautiful; with gardens and pools that are to die for. They are located on the ocean so if you prefer sand and sun, it is just a few steps down from pool. If not, grab a chair or bed by the pool. We had two excellent waiters; Ernesto and David; they really made us feel welcome and spoiled us a bit. We had a garden view room whichwas beautiful but noisy from the huge motors I guess from air conditioning; Although the patio was cool all day and a breeze blowing at all times. An excellent place to stay, we will be back.

Shopped through Cheapcarribean.com, booked with Olympus Tours. From top to bottom they really care here. The Staff is one of the best I have seen around the world. That makes a huge difference Excellent. The next best thing about this resort is a tie between the food and the rooms. For an All-Inclusive we were impressed with the quality of food in all restraunts. even the room service is prompt and delicious. The pool area is very clean (the entire resort is) and very amenable to relaxation as well as play. We journeyed in the off season and both the pool and beach were uncrowded. Again, the service staff is excellent. They are the reason we will come back. All though we will have to find another resort when we bring the kids back this resort would be a first choice. Can't wait to come back. Room Tip: Book Garden view and upgrade at desk if flexible. We got upgraded before we asked (off seson travel). Bar and food on 5th floor (if you need to be close and can't wait for room service). almost every room above the 2nd floor has a view of the ocean. None face the interior of the area. The "Garden View" (1st floors) have a pleasant view, but you won't see the ocean in most. Western side has (closed while we were there) construction next door.
