We both loved this older hotel, must really be something in it's day with all the movie stars. Service was A+. Loved the rooms with your own private swimming pools. Every day the maid arranged flowers on our bed and around the room. Even flowers in our pool! Very romantic! Our rolls and coffee were delivered to our room every morning and we really enjoyed having breakfast on our balcony overlooking this beautiful bay. Dinner was expensive and not that good, but the view was worth it!

Intimate Honeymoon
As a world-wide traveler, (not the mindset of a tourist) I was exceedingly pleased by our last minute choice to travel to Acapulco for our honeymoon. Due to last minute surgery prior to the wedding, it limited our options for adventure travel as we are accumstomed.
The location was the most intimate, luxurious choice ever imaginable. I have stayed at other 'Leading Hotels of the World' but found this to be particularly suited towards our state of mind, romance.
With marriage certificate in hand, we arrived and were upgraded to a private pool villa. An outstanding unobstructed view of the bay of Acapulco.... with the privacy required to remain undressed our entire honeymoon.
Private beach club was outstanding! Wisked around in pink jeeps a joy-ride, but most of all our coffee and continental breakfast were waiting for us every morning as a result of a pass through, which afforded us the luxury of no early morning knocks at the door while scrambling for the bathrobe.
Despite monsoon downpours at night, the sun was bright each day.
Being that it was our honeymoon, we ordered room service a few times a day, and it was sublime to not 'dress' for dinner.
If you enjoy your own private pool filled with fresh hibiscus daily, and welcome the calm breeze of luxury, then arrange your travels to Las Brisas Hotel in Acapulco. The Service was unparalled, to any I have experienced, the room and setting sublime and romantic and the value of the vacation was priceless.....!

Room Information
263 pink-and-white, one-story, flat-roof casitas (small, villa-like houses) terraced into a steep hill rising some 1,000 feet (300m) above the Pacific Ocean. Casitas' locations are classified into five levels, each number representing additional height on the hillside and more spectacular views of the ocean or Acapulco Bay from casitas' terraces, which are furnished with lounge chairs, two-chair dining sets, and umbrellas or shade tents.
Each casita has its own private pool (large enough for a few swimming strokes, but functioning more as a plunge pool) or shares a pool with one or two other casitas.
Brisas Beach Club rooms are located in casitas on the resort's highest levels, provide completely private terraces, and are reserved for adults 18 and older.
Casitas and rooms are offered in the European Plan, which includes room accommodations only.
All casitas are air-conditioned, but louvered door and windows still capture breezes, which are supplemented by ceiling fans. Casitas' pink-and-white decor also features fieldstone accent walls and marble-brick floors. Furnishings include cushioned chairs, marble-topped tables, 27-inch televisions, mini bars, hair dryers, clock radios, irons with ironing boards, and makeup areas with desks, mirrors, and stools. Marble bathrooms include stall showers (no bath tubs).

Acapulco. There are great beaches, the water is always warm, and the sun always shines. But when the sun goes down, there's always nightlife until it rises again.

Hotel Description
Hidden away among 40 acres of lush hibiscus gardens on a hillside high above famous Acapulco Bay, Las Brisas Acapulco welcomes you to one of the most exclusive and extraordinary vacation destinations in the world. The sharp contrasts between the deep blue sea and the vibrant hues of the surrounding tropical vegetation exude a sense of secluded elegance and creates a truly unique ambience.
A stay at this luxury resort with 263 charming casitas (bungalow style rooms) which have either a private or shared pool and the best views of Acapulco, is a one-of-a-kind experience. Pink and white jeeps will whisk you away to your casita, to the private La Concha Beach Club and to all other resort facilities.
At Las Brisas Acapulco you will feel like you are a million miles away from it all, even though a wide array of activities is only a few minutes away from this fabulous seaside resort. Hold your breath as the world famous divers at "La Quebrada" jump out over a one hundred foot tall cliff; join the Jeep Safari to "Tres Palos Lagoon" where you will see the sky light up like fire at sunset; browse for hand-crafted treasures in the markets, let yourself be seduced by the tempting nightlife; Tee up on a championship 18-hole golf course or treat yourself to a massage at the spa.
Operating every 20 minutes, shuttles transport guests between the hillside resort and its private beach club on Acapulco Bay, a five-minute trip. The club includes no sand but features two expansive rock- and fieldstone-lined saltwater pools narrowly open to the bay, so they're continuously refreshed. Terraced above them is a large, freeform freshwater pool. Pools' sundecks feature palm trees, cushioned lounge chairs, umbrellas, and shade tents.
A small health spa offers massage, body treatments, and facials. An air-conditioned fitness center contains a universal gym and cardio machines and special exercise machines for disabled guests. A beauty salon offers waxing and hair/nail care.
Las Brisas resort's lobby provides wireless Internet connections for laptop computers, with network cards available for surcharges. A doctor maintains an office at the resort during the day and is on call around the clock. Shops at the resort include two selling Las Brisas logo clothing, a cigar shop, a jewelry shop, a deli, and a gift shop. The resort purifies its water.
