Love this resort!
This was our second trip to Jamaica and to this resort and will be going back again!! The service is wonderful, the food is outstanding and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only disappointment was the adult pool. It was not as clean I would have expected it to be for the condition of the rest of the resort. Other than this I we would recommend this resort a million times over!!!
The hotel needs some TLC. Upon arrival an elevator and the pool were out of service followed by a water pipe leaving us without water in the hotel for a period of time. The food left a lot to be desired and the watered down drinks are not what you would like but expect at an all-inclusive.
We had a great time at this resort. All the employee were very friendly and willing to help you! There was entertainment of some sort everynight at the main pool stage area. Drinks were plentiful and suggest you take a large mug of some kind so you don't have to make as many trips to the bars. The jerk hut was the best. The food was great and the bartender Troydell was always there with a smile ready to serve you. Ask him to make you a "Bob Marley." The beach area was nice but the water was a little on the shallow side. Deepest part was up to your thigh, but we still enjoyed it. Everyone I told about our vacation could not believe what a bargain we got. My husband and I and our three grown adult kids went and it was one of the best vacations we ve went on. We took a snorkel catamaran ride that left from the nearby Sandals hotel. We booked on it online before we got there from Island Advertures. It was the best catamaran ride I've been on! This was an all adults cruise and would highly recommend it if you don't have the little ones along. My kids did the White Witch zip line which is only 10 minutes from the resort. They really enjoyed it. I was a little scared when I read some of the review about the food at the resort. I can honestly say it was not the five start resort quanity, but they give you a lot of choices for each meal and if you leave hungry it's your own fault!! The Italian restaurant was the best restaurant on the property. We decided to go to Margaritaville for dinner one night. The food in my opinon was no better than the resort. We spent $112 plus the $60 cab fare for four people only had two dirnks on the bill and got burgers for dinner. The Holiday Inn is a family resort, but you adults do have the option of going to the "adult" pool and beach area. For the money, this was one of the best deals ever!! I'll contiue to use Cheap Carribean.com for future deals.
The food was the worst of any resort I've ever stayed in. We ended up eathing hamburgers or pizza after the first two days. Breakfast was fair but I didn't mind skipping lunch or dinner.
Definitely need an adults only pool. You can not swim from the beach, it is much to shallow.
Room was always clean and employees were always cheerful and helpful. Rooms need upgrading, reminds me of a Holiday Inn room from the 70's.
The best thing about stay was the employees but they couldn't make up for all the negatives.
I wish I had gone to the Dominican Republic where I would have gotten much more for my money.

Jamaica special $479 all inclusive11 answers
Hello,
I wanted to book the Jamaica trip for 4 nights, but when I do, it tacks on airfair making it $717 or so. How do I make sure to get the all inclusive with air without having them tack on air? Also, do we need passports to go to Jamaica? When is the best time to go? What days are the cheapest to flight out of LAX? I'd like to get answers before I move forward.
Thanks
1 year, 15 months ago
Yolanda
The package pricing as advertised on the site includes airfare and hotel accomodations based on flights out of Miami. When changing your departure city to Los Ageles, this automatically increases the base price of the reservation by $250 per person. So when the site provides you with a price of $717 per person, this is the going rate for hotel accomodations and airfare from LAX. The winter season is considered the busiest time of year, and therefore is generally more expensive than travel in the summer and fall.
KateCC
I would not waste my money on this resort. I am currently staying here and I think that it's a complete waste of money. You would be better off staying at a regular hotel and going to restaurants. The food would certainly taste better! Yes you definitely need your passports for Jamaica. Be prepared to wait in line at customs and immigration when you get here!!!
UNHAPPYguest
You do need passports that's what I was told and don't fly with Spirit Airlines. Each bag is $30 each way. We had two bags and we paid $63 each way.
1stTimer
Hi Yolanda. Yes, you DO need a passport to travel to Jamaica. Airfare is in addition to the resort charge, but if you book in advance, you can get a good price through Cheap Caribbean. My advice to you - don't use US Airways!!!!! I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Sunspree to you. It can't be beat - and I've been to Jamaica many times over the years. My family and I just returned Saturday and had a wonderful time there. You won't be disappointed! I'd say that from now through July would be a good time to travel to Jamaica - but again, anytime on the island is fantastic! Best wishes for a great vacation!
Familyof6
I found that the really low airfare prices were if you flew out of Florida. We also found that flying out on a Wednesday and returning on a Tuesday seemed to keep the price of flying lower. You can put in different dates for arrival and departure to see what is cheaper. Yes, you will need a passport to get in and out of Jamaica. We just got back last week and had a wonderful time! It was amazing!
countrygirl
Hi, just to let you know that you do need passports for Jamaica.
As far as the extra money added leaving from LAX, it does that to any state but Miami. It did for us too leaving from Philadelphia.
The cheapest time to fly is normaly mon-wed.
Hope this comes in handy.
naty
the $479 rate is a base rate and it goes up based on where you fly from. Most resorts are all inclusive and you will definately need a passport. Passports can take up to 12 weeks to get unless you pay an extra fee, so keep that in mind when you book your trip
dabman
You do need passports! Your rate sounds about right - I'm not sure you're going to find anything any cheaper than that! We were told by the local Jamaican folks that the rainy season start in May and continues into September, so I'd recommend going in March/April! Both times I've been to Jamaica, it was in April - it was only around 83 degrees or so, but the humidity makes it feel much warmer!
DolphinGirl
Just when you choosing resort, check departure city on top and it will show prices including air fare from destination you of you choice. You do need passport, it is different country. It is same weather all year long, so really best time for me is when is better prices.
belitchenko
YES! You need your passports!
CLOVE
I just got back from there. Had a wonderful time with my daughter. we spent approx. $ 1800.00 for all inclusive hotel plus air and 2 tours, also get the trans form/ to - airport approx. 20-30 dollars. You will need a passport ! The weather was hot but not as bad as here in CA. It was humid but you spend alot of time in the water.

Do you have any all-inclusive deals leaving from NY?9 answers
1 year, 15 months ago
N
The Holiday Inn Sunspree is strictly an all inclusive resort. The starting price for the current special at the Holiday Inn Sunspree is based on flights out of Miami, however you can change the departure city to New York. There will be an additional cost to fly from New York for this package. Any other resort can also be priced from New York by using the gold "Create Your Own Vacation" box at the top left hand corner of the page. Just select a destination, dates of travel and the meals included option and the available All Inclusive resorts will be priced for you.

What exactly in included in the "all inclusive" package?11 answers
Hello, my fiancee and I are currently planning our honeymoon and we were hoping to get an all includive package. I know that some all inclusive packages are different from each other, but we were looking to get a package that include all unlimited foods and beverages (alcohol included) for the entire 7-day trip, spas, tours, entertainment and other exciting things. The food and beverage and the flight is the main thing for us, but side attractions won't be bad either. I just want to know if your all includive package for the Jamaica holiday inn resort for $549 includes all of this, or if you have any other packages.
Jewel
I would recommend it. We ate way too much food and drinks and it was all included. Also, book a dinner (also included) at the Breezes rest. in the resort. Try the food, its prepared by the locals. Go sailing, kayaking and there is an "adult area" also with a swim up bar. The resort has plenty of entertainment. I also recommend going to Dunn Falls. Great place for honeymooners. Make a trip to Margaritaville take the catamaran trip and go to the Jamaican Bobsled bar. If you want to just chill at the resort its a great place.
StillSmilin
Just returned yesterday from this resort. Alcohol, all other beverages, meals, and flight were included in our package. The food isn't the best but for 1500.00 dollars for 4 nights plus airfare and meals, it was a great price. The place is clean, the hospitality isn't great and there are lots of kids there. There are also three restaurants you can make reservations but you have to make the reservations the night before you eat there. You should be at the courtesy/information desk every morning at 7 am to get your reservations because they go QUICK. There is also a small adult pool and beach area that isn't roped off in the adult beach area. Small but we enjoyed those areas most. The landscaping at the resort is gorgeous. If you have an extra 800-1000, I would stay at the Iberostar. But if you are just dying to go to Jamaica and you aren't picky, you could have a good time at this resort. We had a great time but have a good sense of humor. For example, my husbands sandals were stolen right off the beach....Gotta have a sense of humor about that or it could ruin your vacation. Ox tail, braised kidneys, boiled green bananas, are examples of food you will find on the buffet. No thanks. Make sure you get your dinner reservations.... I enjoyed the beach area very much but my husband thought it was a little small. The water is pretty shallow.
Peri2007
The price is right. Have been to the resort twice in the past 2 yrs. They have a nice Gazebo sitting in the ocean for the wedding they cater to all of the weddings we have seen there. the Cool Runnings Dunn River Falls cruise is fun. The trip to Margaritaville is fun ( wear Bathing suits they have a water slide). Watersports at resort are fine as well.
gregth
All inclusive entails hotel, flight, food, drinks, alcohol, nightly entertainment, non-motorized water sports, other sports activities (volleyball, golf, etc), and the kids camp. It does not include the salon/spa, shopping, tours or excursions. The extra stuff (waterfalls, parasailing, etc) is easy to book through the Guest Services desk at the hotel.
BeachBuddy
This is a family resort. There is an adult section, but keep in mind, all the entertainment and eating are where the families are. We had a great time, but not sure if I would go just with my husband. If your budget is limited, then go for it because everything is included!! Food is great and so are the drinks. Just bring 32oz cups with you to fill your drinks with because they only serve in 4oz cups. Hve fun!
Bower
All your food, beverages are included alcohol as well. Non motorized sports are also included. We just returned from our honeymoon at the Holiday Inn Resort. Too many kids!! Food is alright nothing out of this world. If your honeymooning I would choose an adult only resort.
Johnsons2011
We just returned from Jamaica and spent 6 days at the Holiday Inn Sunspree. The all-inclusive includes drinks (soda, juice, water, and alcohol) and food. If you go, bring a large insulated cup for drinks as the cups they provide are very small. The resort has 3 restaraunts in which you must make dinner reservations for (included) and one buffet style restaruant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the hotel lobby. The food was typical all-inclusive food meaning that it was edible but not something you would want to eat all the time. The hotel is older but clean and the beach is small. However, for the money it isn't that bad. If you could afford to spend a bit more, I would choose an adult only hotel in Negril. Negril is beautiful and has tourquoise water. Montego Bay is a large city.

Hi Jewel,
I'm Liz..My friend & I just got back Sunday from here & it was wonderful!!!! For the price ..U can't beat it!! Food, drinks, room , & air all inc. Excursions & sightseeing are not but U cab book right there & for the most part they were reasonable!! Congrats & Enjoy!!! Liz
Ladybuc
it's everything but the spa
BethanyB86
All meals and beverages (alcohol) were included. The hotel had nightly entertainment. There was also a free shuttle bus from the hotel to Margaritaville. There were some (non motorized) water sports included. Excursions off the resort can be costly.
beachmama7
Everything is included. Bring a larger cup or thermos if your are a drinker because the back and forth with the eight ounce cups isn't fun. Tons of food at multiple spots along beach. Snorkeling...well bring your own. Very few and you only get hr. Nightly show are free out by the pool. you literally don't need a dime if your plan is to stay at the hotel. Boring... Hit the excursions. Best time of your life

At the Holiday Inn/Montego Bay whats the dress code for most restaurants?11 answers
At one of the restaurant it says formal dinning.....A woman ofcourse would wear a dress or somthing nice. But for a man would a nice pair of shorts, a button up and maybe some boat shoes be okay? Were leaving in a month and i'm just trying to get an idea on what my boyfriend should bring. Thanks!
Awalts
You have the right idea! You should be fine with that for most restaurants. Sorrento is a little more formal so he may want to bring a pair of pants if you decide to make a reservation at the Italian Restaurant. Enjoy!
KellyCC
Usually for formal, or even dress casual the men have to wear long pants. They can get away with sandals but not flip flops and a golf shirt is usually ok, as long as it is a collared shirt. Women can wear capris and sandals or sundresses but not shorts. hope this helps. Although we did not stay at the Holiday Inn this is general dress for all resorts,
aplblossom
They say no flip flops, tank tops or shorts for ladies and man have to wear long pants. The pants are the most important, I saw man wearing jeans, sandals and regular t-shirts. My daughter wore one of this rompers with shorts and I had my regular beach flip flops on, and nobody said anything.
elap
you have to wear long pants for 1 of the places, and it's the best place to go, the surrento.
BethanyB86
no shorts, nice casual pants and short sleeve shirt
father
Hello!
Yeah, the restarants that had the dress codes where not that uptight. You could pretty much wear a sun dress and as for guys, as long as he has sleeves on his shirts he will be good .
Kmart
I would go with Pants for the gentleman. Enjoy!
beachmama7
At some of the restaurants, shorts and collared shorts are allowed for men. At others no shorts, flip-flops etc. Have him pack at least one pair of long pants, and you should be fine.
Platinumwalls
No flip flops and for guys long pants were required in the Italian restaurant. All 3 restaurants wanted guys to wear a shirt with collar.
Bookbuddy
european style shorts below the knee work great with a collared shirt and no flip flops for the restaurants
worlduuman
They aren't extremely strict. Wear some pants and descent shirt and your good to go.

We opted out for the shuttle service, is this a safe deal? I know the resort is only five minutes away from the airport,so approx cab fair?
Kelly
No I would have taken the shuttle. Cabs there are very expensive and they could pick up multiple people.
Laxmom
Hi Kelly,
I would recommend taking the transportation with the package, the average cab fare is $30.00 USD.
RJUDYS
We bought the RT transfer for two of us $40. Cab fare board at the hotel said it would be $30 to the airport.
Bookbuddy
yes.......$20-25
worlduuman
The question should perhaps be is it worth opting out off. When I saw the 22 or 24 dollars the website asked for a five minute ride I thought heck no.... A taxi ride can't be more than 10. Well it was 30. Flat rate from everyone no matter the distance as long as it was montego. we rode alone on a bus but if I could do it again I'd go with website deal
MrVacation
Cab fair is about $1.75 american dollars and I would say that is safe.
raru
Highly recommend the shuttle service cab fares are high in Jamaica. They meet you at the airport load your luggage and get you right to your hotel.
Terry57
Hotel to resort is about 10 minutes. Very very close but listed taxi prices are unbelievably high. If you can haggle on price, I wouldnt worry about taxi safety. Taxi's are quite often shuttles/vans and have red plates.
FromNJ
I would do the Shuttle service, really easy and they are nice.
Maria9101
I had my own escort service and the service was reasonable and cheap.
Babes
You can probably still get on the shuttle bus and I would if you can. It is only a 5-10 min drive, but the taxi will cost you $30-40 US dollars. When we got to the airport we told them we were staying at the Holiday Inn and they directed us to the shuttle bus stand where they put a wrist band on us and then we walked out to the bus. On our way to the airport the bus left us so we had to take a cab and we bargained with him because all we had left was 17 dollars. He agreed to it and we were glad because its a 6 dollar fee to take cash out of the atm.
LoveDogs
It is better to use the shuttle. Taxis tend to be expensive. Shuttle runs all day from 10:00 AM to 3:00 and takes you to the city for night life in the evenings.

How much does babysitting cost?7 answers
My wife and I are thinking about staying at the Sunspree. This is our first trip to jamaica would like to bring our 1-yr old with us. Does the hotel offer in-room babysitting? What is the fee for childcare?
Kermit
Babysitting is offered at the resort for an additional cost, but the pricing would depend on the time of day, the age of the child, and other factors, therefore we would not be able to quote a specific price at this time.
KristinCC
Yes, the hotel offer childcare, but i did not use the service as I do not have small children. If I can remember correctly the fee was $35.00 for the whole day.
Babes
They dont have in room babysitting but they have a playplace/daycare that sits the children I believe until 9 pm... I've heard great things from the couples that had their kids stay with them.
Mider
I don't know if they have in-room babysitting, but they do have a kids club that took infants. There were two age ranges that they accepted so that the infants were not with the older kids. I do not think there was a fee for this, but I am not sure. There were quite a few infants their during our visit.
Zingara
I didn't bring kids but I think it's $10.00 an hour.
robinson124
I don't believe they charge anything but they do have a nice playground and all kinds of activities for the kids all day. There were lots of kids. All ages.
Resh
I didn't see any offer for babysitting and even if I did, I wouldn't trust my child to this staff. They were not warm and friendly at all and the atmosphere was not welcoming.

YOU ADD IT ON TO YOUR RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE FOR ABOUT 22 A PERSON ROUND TRIP. CHEAPER FOR A CHILD. WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS.

NYCCaribQueen22
Cheap Caribbean can handle that for you!

Hotel shuttle to airport was $22 for 2 guests both ways. There were some free shuttles from hotel to Margaritaville (but you can visit that place in any major american city) and the shopping centers. All other shuttles are part of tours.

We had the hotel transfer to and from the hotel added to our package from CheapCarribean. We used JTL for the transfers and for our day trip to the Dunns River falls. It was not much and well worth it. The Taxi's are very expensive.

Deluxe Room6 answers
What is the biggest differences between the Standard, Superior, and Deluxe room. I know the view is one but what bout room size, fridge, bathroon, updated room? King size bed?
Vicky
Hi Vicky,
Thank you for your question. The only difference between the room categories is the view. All of the rooms are renovated and have the same amenities including mini fridge, wi fi in the room, 2 doubles or 1 king bed, balcony or terrace. The Standard has a city view, the Superior has an Ocean view, and the Deluxe has an Ocean Front view.
ccsusan1
Building 7 had higher ceilings which made the room seem a little bigger. It also had a fridge in a cabinet but not stocked with anything. The beds were king size but a little hard.. No extra blankets to soften them in the room. The bathrooms were all the same size, big enough for 1 person at a time. The rooms were clean but not new. The first 2 rooms were the same, King size bed, 2 nightstands. long dresser with tv on top and a small table with a chair and a small couch. One chair on the patio with a small table and the other rooms had 2 chairs on the patio and a small table.
Roxy3
We stayed in an standard, ocean front with a king bed, nothing special, just a coffee machine, but the rest of the resort was very nice.
tgobrick
NOT SURE WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IN ROOMS WERE. BUT WE HAD THE STANDARD AND THAT OFFERED REFRIGERATORS AND A REMARKABLE BALCONY VIEW.
paveit001
I had paid for a garden view- 1 king or 2 queen beds-Extravagganza. I got upgraded for free to an ocean view, 2 queen beds. I think it was a Superior room, but not sure. It had a desk and chair and a mini fridge, balcony, and small lounge chair inside the room. Great size!

We are looking at the package deal with air but it only offered a standard room. Would like to know the cost difference to a deluxe room.

tomscarpt
During the booking process, it gives you the opportunity to upgrade your room category. Pricing would depend on the specific travel dates and the resort's occupancy level.
MariaCC
We had a deluxe room facing the water the upgrade cost us $ 172.00
jacnjer
I think it's like $60, but we didn't get the upgrade our room still had a balcony & ocean view though.
lpettigrew
Not worth even $10. I upgraded to the "Exttraveganza Suite" and it was basically a standard room. Shower was tiny and dirty. Bathroom was inconveniently laid out.
gfish
Not sure that there are upgradable rooms at the resort we were not offered any and did not hear anyone speaking of it
NotagaininJamiaca
I believe that it wasn't more than about 140$. I would recommend an ocean view room in building seven if you can get it.
IslandJumper
It was $25 more per person to upgrade to deluxe room. When we got there, we were upgraded to a suite without extra fee.

When doing a package, does it cost more for a single person?4 answers
2 months ago
Boston
Yes, in most cases a single person in the room will pay more per person than two persons sharing a room. The resorts price the room according to double occupancy so generally, a single person is paying around the same price himself as two people combined are paying for the same room.
ccsusan1
We booked 4 rooms and two of them had singes in them and we were not charged more.
traveler201
I think the package is based on double occupancy. Check with the folks at Cheap Caribbean. I'm pretty sure that kids are free. This place is family oriented and a lot of folks with young kids go. We saw one family with eight kids. The primary allure of this place is the price.
AWhit
I went with a friend, we had separate rooms. Cost was exactly the same as if we shared one.

The resort does not have a nightclub, however, there is an onsite casino and several bars on property.
MariaCC
There are no nightclubs...but the bars are large and open till 2:00 a.m.
DDiane
No but there is an adult only bar but some nights there is no one there. On the weekends, they do have some type of entertainment.
traveler201
Only a piano bar and it doesn't start until 10:30 pm
Ohio59
No!
corporall
No not at the hotel but you can take the hotel shuttle there and back for free
starrbert
not really they offer free rides to Margaritaville which of course is gonna cost you since it is not part of the all-inclusive
Anonymous
There is an "adult" lounge upstairs by the specialty restaurants. No band, DJ or dancing.
If you are looking for night life - this resort is not for you. Pretty boring!
Draperylady
They have a pub inside the resort, which is open until 2 am. There is a free shuttle that takes guests outside the resort to Margaritaville.
Claireese
no nightclubs
Billie
no night club!. There is an adult pool and beach area and a piano bar upstairs from the main lobby that is for adults only. The focus of this resort is families with younger kids.
AWhit
No, there is noghtly entertainment, but is a family focused resort. They do offer free shuttles to Margeritaville (pardon the spelling)

Is there a dress code for dinner11 answers
1 month ago
judy
This resort does not specify a dress code, however, generally the a la carte restaurants require the men to wear closed toe shoes ( no sneakers) and a collared shirt, long pants. The women are able to wear a skirt, dresss or capris with nice sandals.
ccsusan1
they say there is !! But didnt see it!!!!!
SCKYM
proper attire for the restaurants:no shorts, tshirts or sandals(unless dressy)
for buffets: shirts (or coverups) and shoes/sandals
Billie
Yea there is a dress code for dinner but was only strictly enforced at the Italian restaurant. For men only, no sandals/flip flops , long pants ( I wore jeans) and no sleeveless shirts ( I wore a T-shirt), My daughter wore short pants and sleeveless shirt. Wife wore casual dress and sandals....nothing was said.
AWhit
No shorts, long pants for men, no flip flops, and no tank tops but many women had on tank tops.
cahhtravis
there are 3 resturants:
seabreeze is carribean fusion, only requirment was no flip flops or tank tops
terrace is Jamaican, only requirment was no flip flops or tank tops
Sorrento's is italian, men MUST have long pants and closed toed shoes and shirts with collars. Women no shorts or tank tops ,,, dress nice
STIFF
The dress code for the dining that you make reservations for is men have to wear slacks (no shorts) and no flip-flops. Though some of the places didn't even seem to enforce the code.
Cyberlpn
None for buffet or Jamaican restaurant but the Italian and Seafood restaurants which require daily reservations does. So throw a nice in your luggage. Not your Sunday best suit etc, just no flip flops, shorts, t-shirts allowed. Enjoy!
Miarita
The buffet requires no swimsuits as well as no tank/muscle shirts for the men at dinner (other times of the day the only requirement is for no wet clothes). The other restaurants were the same, however most people dressed up a bit for them....closed toe shoes and button up shirt for the men, slacks or skirt for the ladies. Nothing terribly fancy but a bit dressier.
judeswife
For specialty restaurants there is but no one bothers. resort casual which can mean a dress and slacks..no t-shirts and flip flops...very casual, most woman wore casual dresses
BettyMac
No.

Can you drink the water at Holiday Inn Sunspree?13 answers
Do you need bottled water to brush your teeth?
Minnesota
you can drink it!! The ants in the sink seemed fine and Happy!!!
SCKYM
Bottled water is not needed to brush your teeth at this resort. Please do so, if it makes you more comfortable.
ChristinaCC
Water in the restaurants are safe to drink. Yes, tap water is safe for brushing teeth. No need to use bottled water which is expensive.
Claireese
You do not need bottled water to brush your teeth you can use water from sink in bathroom as well as use it for the automatic coffee maker. You can drink the water from all automatic machines and if you would to buy bottled water it is $1 in the hotel store as well as in the soda machines located in buildings housing the rooms.
Billie
We drank the water right out of the faucet. It is treated and safe to drink. Does not taste the best but we didn't get sick.
AWhit
My family of 4 drank it and we were all fine.
cahhtravis
No, all the water is filtered. No issues at all with the water.
STIFF
We do not have any reports on file as far as clients getting sick from the water in Jamaica.
MariaCC
The water is fine to drink and use straight from the tap. There is also bottled water to purchase if you need/want it.
Cyberlpn
Yes you can drink the water. I never got sick.
XaviersMom
No, Water was fine. Enjoy!
Miarita
No need for bottled water. I am an avid water drinker and did not have any problems with the tap water, even for drinking! If you care to have filtered water, the soda pop machines all serve water, just bring a tall glass to fill!
judeswife
I drank the water with no issues. Bring diet soda if you drink it as it is hard to find, they have light coke (75 calories for 8 ounces.
BettyMac
No the water is absolutely fine

Are there dress codes for the restaurants4 answers
1 week ago
Barb
Most resorts require men to wear long pants and a collared shirt. Tank tops, shorts and beach attire usually are not permitted in the restaurants.
MariaCC
only in the ones that require reservations. It is nothing strict, just no shorts or t-shirts. Collared shirts for the guys.
daytripper
Yes, some of the al la carte restaurants have dress codes.
MarWil
There are 3 restaurants that require reservations. The Italian restaurant requires long pants for men, no flip flops, and no tank tops. The two other restaurants require no tank tops. Flip flops and shorts are allowed. The dress codes are not strictly enforced. The main restaurant (buffet style) may have a dress code but it was not obvious - everything was OK (swim suits, etc)
